Dungeons & Dragons (D&D) is a tabletop role-playing game (RPG) where players create characters and embark on adventures in a fantasy world. One player acts as the Dungeon Master (DM), who controls the world, non-player characters, and the overall story. The other players each control a single character, using dice rolls to determine success in various challenges, such as combat and problem-solving.

To play, each player first creates a character by selecting a race (e.g. human, elf, dwarf), class (e.g. wizard, fighter, rogue), and abilities. The DM sets the scene and presents a scenario, and the players work together to overcome obstacles and achieve their goals. The outcome of certain events and actions is determined by rolling dice, with the type and number of dice determined by the player’s abilities and the situation.

D&D is a social game that encourages teamwork, creativity, and imagination. It’s a great way to spend time with friends, exercise your imagination, and escape into a fantastical world for a few hours. So grab some friends, create your characters, and let the adventure begin!
